During the past couple of months we have had the opportunity to visit with people from throughout the parish. The reception has been exciting.

Across Avoyelles Parish, people are placing their hopes in the possibilities ahead of us as a parish and as a state. What we hear most is that families are hoping for better opportunities for their children and grandchildren. They want what most of us wish for – that our families remain close and can find the jobs that make living here in Avoyelles as wonderful for them as it has been for most of us.

I tell people I meet that I don’t even pretend to have all of the answers. But, what I do have is the energy and the abilities to make and keep my commitment to work tirelessly for a stronger, more vibrant future for our parish and our state.

Our message and our hard work is creating lots of interest in my campaign. People I had not even known before this campaign are coming on board to help in every way they can. Along with the newer faces are some of our families’ oldest and best friends who have known me and/or my wife, Amy, all of our lives.

Together we can make a real difference not only in this election, but more importantly in the future of Avoyelles and Louisiana. It can be a future that turns all of the challenges we now face into opportunities for positive change.
